Meeting the Needs of the next generation

Family is important at LAM. We strive to provide programs and resources that can effectively reach our children, and through them their families, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our mission to bring youth to Jesus, develop them to Christ like Maturity and equip them for their ministry in and outside of the church.

Married couples, please join us for “I Still Do....An Evening with Your Honey”, Saturday, February 11^th from 4:00 ? 7:00 p.m. here at LAM. Our special guest speaker will be our very own Bro. Bennie Cross, author of the book “Being Married and Loving It”. Donations are $25 per couple and you can Sis. Vianessa Shephard to register immediately following service. Don’t miss this evening of fun, fellowship and tips to keep the marital bliss in your relationship! Attire is “date night dressy”.

Greetings in the Great name of Jesus! I’m so excited about what God has in store for us this year! I would like to take this time to encourage you to be apart of our Youth Ministry at LAM because we are all about learning the Word of God and Applying it to our Life… God doesn’t want you to wait until you are OLD to put into practice what you know or have at your disposal. He wants you to ACT NOW! BELIEVE NOW! Many Youth groups today follow the fun model of ministry and it appears that it has an outstanding success. But I’m afraid if we don’t concentrate on teaching you God’s word and biblical principles we the Church will be adding more people to this generation of biblically illiterate, immature, and conscience-free consumers of American pop culture. We want to be apart of training up disciplined, mature soldiers of Jesus Christ who possess a Life applying knowledge of the Scripture. I do believe we can have Fun learning God’s word and we should be excited about living for God! However, the ultimate FUN is living the WORD and seeing how GOD faithfully honors our STAND. “I’m talking about BLESSED! In all caps!

The WORD is so much easier to understand and LIVE when it’s done with the “RIGHT HEART”. We are blessed at LAM because of the stand our Bishop and First Lady Adolphus Cast have taken. Their hearts are pure and often we are recipients of their blessings. My final words to you are to: STAND AND SEE THE WORD BIGGER FOR YOURSELF THIS YEAR.
