Shelters of Love

Shelters of Love is a non-profit organization focused on housing and feeding those in need in the Metro-Detroit area and is coordinated by our very own Brother Ryan Morris. They are currently providing hot breakfast to the homeless and are in need of your donations of non-perishable breakfast items such pancake mix, syrup, plastic ware and juice. Donation receptacles will be located outside of the YOE-G classroom through March 14th. Monetary donations can be given directly to Brother Ryan Morris.

YOE-G

YOE-G, Youth on the Edge of Greatness, is a great time for 6th through 12th graders to get together with friends, worship, sing and learn to apply God’s Word to their lives. This group meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Bishop Adolphus L. Cast

Bishop Adolphus L. Cast was raised in Detroit, MI after moving from Aniston, Alabama in 1952. In September of 1996, he was charged by God to build a ministry where God's holy word can be applied to daily living. Through this ministry, the Spirit of God and His Love is imparted through timeless truth. Bishop Cast communicates the Word of God with fresh insight that enriches lives and gives perspective. You will begin to understand the relevance of God’s rich word and make a personal application.

Bishop Cast has been in ministry over 30 years and is well noted for his charismatic delivery. He ministers from the vast reservoir of spiritual and natural experiences he has encountered. Audiences appreciate the wisdom that emanates from his years of service to the Lord. His many testimonies of trials and triumphs will encourage your heart and broaden your ability to hear and trust God. They will heighten your relationship with your spouse and ability to "BE" in love with each other. He has ministered to youth and singles, yet, his ministry in marriage is most awesome, having touched many couples across the country.

Bishop Cast has been married for over 39 years to the lovely Gwendolyn. He has 6 beautiful children, 2 son-in-laws, 3 daughter-in-laws, and 10 grandchildren. He believes that "strong families" are the strength of the church. Bishop Cast says of his wife, "Handling many hats, things often get out of hand and it is Lady Gwendolyn that keeps me on track and slows me down. She is a prime example of a virtuous woman. I thank God for my helpmate and her loving support".

He is Pastor and Founder of Life Application Ministries in Warren, MI, and Assistant Presiding Bishop of Rhema Fellowship of Churches based in Dallas, Texas. He is also affiliated with the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith and ministers across denominational boundaries.
