2011 Theme – Faith Moving Forward!

Ladies of LAM, we’re moving to a new level in God this year! In 2009 we asked God for “Pink Rain, His Amazing Grace” and He rained all over us! Last year we “threw away” our fears and moved “From Fear to Faith”. Now that God has done a work in us, it’s time for us to advance in Him and do the work that He has called us too. Our theme for 2011 is “Faith Moving Forward”.

“… I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 3:13-14

We are pressing toward the goal – forgetting what is behind us and pressing toward what is ahead! We’ll explore this theme in much more detail as the year unfolds.

2011 Focus – Healthy Living!

Our focus this year is on “healthier living”. Together, we are exploring ways to live healthier, eat healthier and be healthier. As women, we become so focused on caring for our families and others that we often neglect ourselves. Our fast paced lifestyles can include processed foods with additives that rob us of the nutrition that we need to be healthy; very little rest for our physical bodies; and very little nourishment for our spirit-(wo) man. To be all that we need to be for our families and for God, we must take better care of ourselves and we intend to do so this year!

Sister Circles

Last year in March, we formed “Sister Circles”. Sister Circles are small groups comprised of Ladies of LAM that commit to fellowship, support, prayer and love for one another. A leader is assigned to each circle and is responsible for leading efforts to coordinate activities for the circles. I pray that you are spending time in your “Sister Circles”. If this isn’t the case, it’s not too late to plan an outing for fellowship. The Sister Circles are a great way to get to know your sister’s in the ministry, to show each other love and to support one another. Let’s make sure that we touch every sister in the ministry this year. We are our sister’s keeper! If you don’t have a circle assignment or need additional information, please contact Sis.
