Lady Cast, as she is fondly called by the church congregation gave her heart to the Lord in May, 1976. Since her rebirth, she has humbled herself to the Lord and continues to manifest the fruits of the spirit in every area of her life. She is dedicated to being a helpmate to her husband, Bishop Adolphus Cast, Sr. and has worked by his side since the inception of Life Application Ministries in 1996.

Lady Cast was born in Detroit, Michigan, attended Detroit Public Schools and Wayne State University. She and Bishop Cast were married on October 24, 1969. Together they have six beautiful children, Trina, Dhamahi, Adolphus Jr., Andre, Dorian and Dustin; two son-in laws, John Hill and Craig Carroll; and three daughter-in-laws, Heather, Corinne and Jaleasha. She and Bishop Cast now have 10 beautiful grandchildren with number 11 on the way!

Lady Cast is a great role model to the women of the church. She has a heart for women and family relationships. Her kind and gentle spirit often speaks calm to the storms that rage in our lives. She is a great example of the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31.

Lady Cast is the director of Women’s Ministry at LAM. In this capacity she oversees the following LAM ministries:

• The Ladies of LAM – A ministry for women and young ladies (married and unmarried) ages 18 and above. The ministry strives toward the development of women into the fullness of the virtuous women God intends them to be, while promoting unity, a sense of family, and sisterhood. The ministry frequently hosts retreats, marriage enrichment activities and other social events that empower women to develop in the love of God.
• Single Adults Living Triumphantly (SALT) – Launched in 2009, this ministry is devoted to addressing the needs of singles. Its primary focus is to help single adults (married/ unmarried/ single again), to experience God's love and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Marriage Enrichment – Designed to address the needs of married couples in the ministry. Annual activities include “Couples Night Out’, and marriage enrichment workshops.

Lady Cast is an executive board member at LAM, and the Director of the Hospitality, Events and Culinary auxiliaries. She is also a faithful member of the LAM’s adult choir.

Lady Cast continues to allow God to use her in sharing a little of Jesus here on earth; it’s in her smile, her gentle hug or a pat on the back. Her favorite scripture is Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
