Life Application Ministries hosted the National Day of Prayer in Warren, MI. The event has been one of our proudest and biggest events for our community. Last year it was covered in the media, and an online version of what appeared on TV is available from the WXYZ Channel 7 coverage. Send Your thanks to the management today for helping spread God's word!

It is being held at the Warren City Hall at 12:00 - 12:45 PM on May 5. If you didn't make it this year, make sure to be there the first Thursday in May next year and every year to keep the prayer life of our country alive!

Message from the National Committee

National Days of Prayers have been observed in this country since the nation’s beginning The first Day of Prayer on record was actually observed prior to the nation’s first birthday, in 1775. The National Day of Prayer was established by Congress in 1952 and signed by President Truman as an official annual observance. In 1988, the National Day of Prayer was set aside by the House, Senate and President Reagan as the first Thursday of every May. This day of prayer is for everyone to unite in prayer for our shared country, communities, families and future. Our nation is in desperate need of intercession. Scripture tells us nations rise and fall at God’s command, and the hearts of rulers are in His hand. If healing is to come to our land, God’s wisdom must be sought in humility, repentance, and supplication. Although our present troubles may appear insurmountable, we can take heart in knowing that we serve a God of mercy, compassion and power.

The responsibility of prayer extends beyond our personal lives. United in heart and mind, participants across our land will pause at noon in each time zone to humbly come before God’s throne asking the Lord to grant wisdom and guidance to our government leaders, churches, families, schools, the media and other important areas. We took forward to seeing you there. Please feel free to bring your family.
— This day is planned for every American citizen. God Bless You!
